Made Butter removed a pic in his blog...I looked fat!

Last night, had bbq at East Coast with the F4 gang. Great spot we got and as for the food... "ok la!". For the first time, I went bbq without a pit, fire started without a starter. Anyway it was pretty enjoyable... And ooooh....the F4's common topic(?!)....the same old topic from the 2 most eligible F4...geez! Best not mention here eh...surprisingly, they never seem to get bored over the topic....in the next gathering....they gonna start all over again....ooops!

Been reading and catching movies with Butter. Let's talk about books...Recently completed "Tuesdays with Morrie" by Mitch Albom (and actually there was another book recommended by Butter...by local Author...don't usually read local books....hmmn...the feel is like- watching local eng drama on TV 5)

Tuesdays with Morrie (based on the story of the Author himself and Professor, Morrie.) brings one through a journey towards death....

~everyone knows he will die one day but nobody chooses to believe it~

It's a great book...and I love this passage from the book.

"I heard a nice little story the other day," Morrie says. He closes his eyes for a moment and I wait.

"Okay. The story is about a little wave, bobbing along in the ocean, having a grand old time. He's enjoying the wind and the fresh air - until he notices the other waves in front of him, crashing against the shore.

"My God, this is terrible,' the wave says. 'Look what's going to happen to me!'

"Then along comes another wave. It sees the first wave, looking grim, and it says to him, 'Why do you look so sad?'

" The first wave says, 'You don't understand! We're all going to crash! All of us waves are going to be nothing! Isn't it horrible?'

"The second wave says, 'No, you don't understand. You're not a wave, you're part of the ocean.'"

I smile. Morrie closes his eyes again.

nice ya...somehow I believe when one is closer to death..this makes a good story to hear.

Currently on hands, "The Devil And Miss Prym" by Paulo Coelho. Yet to finish...it's a book on good and evil of a man. Interesting, There was that tale on the painting of The Last Supper by Da Vinci. http://www.snopes.com/glurge/lastsupper.asp

As for movies, The Orphanage and The Bucket List are pretty good. Have yet to watch The Kite Runner :(

Ok...enough of all the Chimology stuff hehe..Let's talk about some other thingy....

Hmmmn 9th of May...that will be my last day working in the beauty industry...and the next chapter begins on 12th May.. *wink*

Am also looking forward to the KL trip with Butter and hopefully he gets the chalet as well heeee So that's my general update....haha

Seems like I'm taking much time to blog...neck aching again...going to take my shower. Bedtime soon hehe

It has been a wonderful wonderful weekend and 3 weeks of reservist!

It felt really really good to have a break from work and back to the squadron for 3 weeks. I gave myself a total shut-off (for once..) and calmly leave everything in Eric's charge back in the office. Truely enjoyed myself for these 3 weeks, had wonderful wonderful time with Toast during this period as well ^-^

Went to the zoo last friday as toast's post below. It is really nice to revisit the zoo again. Had wonderful time with everyone and later with Toast to ktv with the F4 team again. (No... not the F4 you see in TV, The Fat 4 is what i meant haha)

This week has been really tough for me in camp, really shack me out big time! But I would prefer physical work to mental stress anytime! Take it as a good work out.

Sadly, my "holidays" are ending soon, it's back to office on monday. =(
Oh well... everything's gonna be fine I am sure ^-^.
Still have Toast with me, that's what matters most hehe.

Mandai Zoo 21st March 2008

Toast: (oops it's me here again)

We (including Mum, Brother and sweet Amanda) were at Mandai Zoo heh *wink*
Pretty packed on a PH....felt like it was my first time there.....gosh! Had a great timing treking....in fact...felt that I "walk"more than I "see".
Weather was not too bad...luckily it wasn't sunny....if not...I would have melt!

At the end of the day.....there was that comment "We like...here to see monkeys hor...." *ahem* seems like the case....we saw the different breeds.....and well....I did learn something...size does matter afterall....."????" Wait till you see the monkey with that super huge nose.....looks like.....well.....eh.......keke......next time you see for yourself ba....Nah....didn't take the pics.....(Doin' zoo a favor k for not putting up animal pics here....want to see animals?....Please visit Mandai Zoological Gardens....go by TPE....very fast.....you will enjoy the day especially with family....coz I did heh)

Once today over.....shiok! coz next Fri is PH....my much awaited long weekend....then....yet another grooming workshop on Sat 29.03.08 (well.....due to the overwhelming response)


Expecting many aunties......and from the way some of them spoke to me over the phone.....prepared myself to be on "patience" mode today.....


Last Sun at Rasa Sentosa.....bridal event...felt like been working almost everyday..and kinda deprived lately....no hair treatments.....no shopping at orchard.....no holidays *sob*....hope things will start to pick up after May'08.....

Mind went through many thoughts lately........feeling fatigue......but as what I always believe...everything happens for a reason....and strength sees one through.

Visited a good friend earlier.....was pretty upset and shocked over the news...after what she had been through....I got to know only "now" ...

Really glad that she is doing fine.....we chatted quite a while....I got reminded of how fragile life is and not to take things for granted. Much regret over the loss of Grandma.....it should not be repeated.

She is one strong lady.

What is life?

This question I have asked myself so many times.

I have stared blankly at my hands and always amazed that I am actually "alive". How I can move my fingers and feel the wind around me. They are like little tools for me to use and yet they are like a part of me. So what actually am I? A brain? or a spirit living inside a body?

That is one big mystery. But I know this, whatever we are, it is that precious that we are alive. Why waste life away when you only have one go at it? If you found someone to share it, treasure them. And for whatever reason life issn't going so well for you, look around at what you got, instead of what you don't have.

My life, it has been one big blur to me. I have my ups, and definately downs throughout this 29 years, I have laughters I have tears. But I have always know that it has always been fullfilling. To be honest, people around me meant alot to me. I enjoyed seeing them smile, having fun, talking cock and I will do anything to let them have that. Many a times the things I did, is for other people other than myself, just loved to bring joy around me.

There's nothing saint about it, in fact is abit selfish. Just to make myself happy that's all.

I WANT MY LIFE TO BE HAPPY AND EVERYONE ELSE AROUND ME AS WELL!

Oh yes, my life is very happy now ^_^, found my soulmate and she's the princess of my kingdom now. hehe. Muacky!

Toast:

Had been quite busy for the past few days.....at work and personal heh. Work has been pretty pressuring lately *haiz*.....and for personal.....quite a few activities :)

Butter came back from Vietnam with many nice stuff...bought me 3 pretty handmade bags.., jewelry box, shorts ...nice pair and fit me quite well...at first was like "eh how come L size?!" And Butter explained that the size wasn't meant to be L..coz they found a M larger than L...it better be coz I find it hard to accept that I'm wearing L size! :P (But seriously...I lost some weight lately heh), red t-shirt...which I won't wear it out...it has this big yellow star in the middle..he has one for himself too but doubt he will wear that out heh, and the other items he bought were like (?) hmmnn.....a vase (?), a pot (?)....nice and put dem in the display cabinet, Dear, thanks for the goodies *Muack*


Fri (29.02.08)

Had dinner with my marketing colleague (Angie)and her bf last Fri at Sun with Moon restaurant Clarke Quay (For ambience, I still prefer the one at Wheelock's)...expensive dinner and doubt everyone was full.....in fact didn't find the food as good as the last time I had with Shirley and Ping. Anyway we had a nice time chatting...I mean for me and Angie...enjoying our gals' talk and work complaints hehe

After dinner, we went to Dbl0...yea..the club at Mohd Sultan...had not been there for years...Butter's buddy, Steve, kinda celebrating his birthday there....could be even more fun if I was like...5 years younger (?!) haha....but it was still fun la heh...Steve actually down a number of fiery stuff down his throat...and he did a very gross thing to the ice bucket....the thought of that made me wana puke siahz....geez!

The morning ended with Bak Kut Teh heh....I could say....everyone was alright...except for Yong Han...not drunk and neither did he seem right...he was quite funnie la *haha*

Happy Birthday Steve!

Mum wasn't working...my eldest cousin's wedding day....everyone left in the morning to my uncle's place for the tea serving ceremony except me....was still in bed...did get up early coz got facial at 1pm. Bought a nice dress which I wore later for the dinner...shop having sale ma....couldn't resist and thought it was really pretty...after which I ended up looking for a pair of shoes....found it at Charles and Keith....they having sale too!....actually many shops having sales lately. Tempting!

The wedding dinner was at Yishun Safra. The food was ok la....but enjoyed our table....8 of us...my family 6 people including Butter plus my aunt and cousin....
After which, went with Butter to East Coast to chill out with Gummy and Steve.
And again slept at around 4 plus am in the morning....


Today

It's a Sunday. and tomorrow is a Monday...gosh! The good thing about March is...there is a good Friday = PH....should plan a party for that Thur nite...how about Dragonfly? maybe we should get a table.

Going to wash my clothes...mountain high! really really lazy to do it.....dreadful! dropping by laundry shop later as well....two clothes need special wash heh...scared I damage dem...

Yea...meeting Butter later...heading to Suntec....already thinking what we should have for dinner....hehe
