Workshop and Makan Day!

Both Butter and I woke up super early on a Saturday morning. Almost thought I was late for work when my alarm rang!

Reached Toa Payoh at around 8.30am to have breakfast and to attend the HDB resale workshop which started at around 9.15am. Butter registered for it some time back in June or early July (in fact, we have now applied for new flat and the ballot result will be out in Mid September) Quite a number of people attended the workshop and gotta say pretty informative. So if any of you wana know certain stuff related to HDB resale, can check with either Butter or myself heh.....we had done a great deal of homework on resale flats before finally deciding to apply for new one *wink*

Later in the afternoon, went shopping at Sim Lim Square and Bugis. I finally bought a vest from Bugis Village! Think it's nice and gonna match well with shirts...hmmm...next week will wear to work hehe.

And dinner, it was at Safra Sakura ~ Buffet. Stomach almost burst....manz! Sakura does have nice buffet @ S$ 24++ /pax (sashimi, sushi, local food, dim sum, soups, cakes, ice cream, many choices of drinks etc) Food is not that fantastic but worth to have a go.
Lucky, Butter called to make reservation, if not our trip there would be wasted....restaurant was quite packed and we were unable to get the table inside with air-con.

Since talking about food, there is one place that I found with really good dim sum....Peach Garden @ 33 in The Executives Club, 65 Chulia Street, #33-01 OCBC Centre. Great view, reasonable dim sum price (Min. S$3.50), nice ambiance and good service. Helped to arranged a department lunch there last week heh...Reservation in advance is required coz by lunch, it's gonna be fully booked!

Another high floor restaurant which I went with company was Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant at 80 Raffles Place, #60-01 UOB Plaza 1. Food quite nice too and again, reasonable price. However going up to the restaurant is quite troublesome...need to change lifts.....(and anyway Peach Garden at OCBC got better view)
